Event: Easter Egg Hunt and Potluck
This event has already happened
Details
Hello!
I'm planning a spring potluck and egg hunt for our coop. It will be on Sunday, March 31st, which is Easter, however the event will be non-religious and I hope that everyone who can come will come. I know that many people get together with family over this holiday, but many of us in Uni Hills don't have family close by, so I hope that we can become an extended family and take this opportunity to get to know each other better.
We're going to have a potluck first, followed by an egg hunt. If you're not familiar with the egg hunt tradition, here's a (kind of borring) YouTube video demonstrating one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RruzQAxsYDA
Please RSVP and let us know what you'll be bringing to the potluck. Also, in order for the egg hunt to work, each family needs to bring at least one dozen plastic or hard-boiled eggs. If you bring plastic eggs and want to fill them with treats, candy is good, but in years past my kids also liked coins and scratch-off lotto tickets are a (perhaps slightly irreverent) family tradition. If you bring hard boiled eggs, please dye them to make them easier for the kids to find. And, of course, everyone who wants to hunt for eggs should bring a basket or bag to collect them, adults too!
The potluck will start at 11 am and we'll start the egg hunt around 12:30 pm.
I hope to see you there!
