Basel Babysitting Co-Op

We're first-time parents of a 20-month old without family nearby. We joined a babysitting co-op when we lived in New York City, and are hoping we can start one in Basel. We found it's a great way to save money, go out more, and meet other parents.

To start, we'd like to open this up to anyone in Basel and the surrounding suburbs.

We want this to be an informal group: easy to join and get started. We're borrowing the guidelines that the New York City group used: we ask all interetsed parents to attend a social event and/or meet up once in person with another member, and to participate at least once every two months - we ended up babysitting or requesting babysitting more than that. That's it.
