Crown Heights North Babysitting Cooperative

We are a neighborhood babysitting cooperative in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Our aim is to build community (for both children and parents) and to save money by exchanging free babysitting through an online points system. Every three months, we host a social event at a different member's home, at which participating families can get to know each other and prospective members can learn about the co-op.

Active membership is crucial to the success of the co-op. Members must live in or be available to sit in the Crown Heights area and must babysit for another member family at least once every three months to maintain membership. Members also agree to show immunization records if requested, and to serve a term as a co-moderator of the group at some point during their membership.

Prospective members are asked to attend one of our social events to meet other member families before officially joining the co-op. If you are interested in attending the next social or just learning more about our co-op, please contact our moderators!
