LIC Parents

We are a neighborhood babysitting cooperative located in Long Island City. Our aim is to build a close-knit community (for both children and parents) and to save money by exchanging free babysitting through an online points system. We host regular meet-and-greets through which participating families can get to know each other and prospective members can learn about the co-op.

Active membership is crucial to the success of the co-op. Members must live in or be available to sit in the Long Island City area and must babysit for another member family at least once every other month to maintain membership. Members also agree to complete a free background check and show immunization records if requested.
