Healthy Moms & Marriages

This is a babysitting coop to aid in facilitating healthy moms and marriages. The goal of this group is to allow moms a little quiet time, a short rest from the 24/7 work of motherhood. We believe that emotionally and mentally healthy moms are better able to nurture and raise healthy kids.

The second goal of this group is to allow couples the freedom for date nights (out or in :) without the financial burden of paying for a sitter, or feeling like they are taking advantage of the same people over and over again.

If you don't have children, you can also watch kids for hours of another privately arranged services (such as yard work, house work, pet or house sitting, errand-running, help with taxes, or anything else you can think up).

This PRIVATE group is for families who live in the Deer Park area.

Allowing someone else to care for your children requires trust. Any action that compromises trust in your ability to care for children in a safe manner is grounds for removal from this group.

Trust between members is also important. This is not a place to take advantage of free babysitting.

All members are expected to walk in integrity.
This means that if you would like to leave the group, you must first be "in the black" as far as earned hours/points are concerned.

To join this group:
1. You must be invited by a current group member
2. You must be approved by at least two other members
3. At least two members must have visited your home on previous occasions.
