San Marco Babysitting Exchange

Want to go to a movie or out to dinner but can't justify the cost of getting a sitter? Is there an event you would like to attend without having to worry about paying the sitter when you get home? This babysitting co-op is an ideal reciprocal arrangement.

We would take turns babysitting each other's children on select mornings/afternoons/evenings in order to help cut down (and hopefully eliminate) those costly babysitter fees.

Instead of exchanging cash, members simply exchange sitting for sitting. Co-ops make sure everything nets out equitably by tracking points. You get points when you sit for someone else, and you spend points when others are sitting for you.
For example:
The Johnsons can sit for the Browns, the Browns can sit for the Smiths, and the Smiths can sit for the Johnsons. Because you are part of a group, you never have to worry about reciprocating directly with those sitting for you - eventually, it all gets around.

1. You must be a parent with a participating child.

2. You have to have been referred by a parent in this group or able to meet with another member of the group. We will have periodic meet and greets at various days/times/locations in San Marco so that members can meet each other.

3. You must live in or near San Marco (Miramar, Riverside, St. Nicholas, Southbank).

Send an e-mail with the age of your child(ren), the days/times you are needing a sitter, and the days/times you are available to sit and we will go from there.
