Emerson Coop Madison

Emerson Coop Madison was started by Rebecca Bloedorn in the Emerson Neighborhood. It is open to families in this neighborhood, particularly E. Dayton, E. Mifflin and 1st-4th Streets. We would like to have regular, spontaneous or organized meet ups/community events with low to zero usage requirements. The intent of our coop is to build and strengthen our neighborhood community (adults and children) while offering occasional b-sit help that is close to home.

We had our first introductory meet up 9/10/17 at the red house.

Rebecca is currently the Moderator for this coop.

The geographical borders of our coop are currently 1st-4th streets on E.Dayton and E.Mifflin. Emerson neighborhood, Madison, WI.

This coop is open to families of all ages, 0-12 (or whatever age you no longer need a sitter :)

The introductory meeting and member-inspired meet ups are a chance to get to know the families signed up for this coop. Please feel free to create an event and invite everyone. This can be a meet up at Demetral, Emerson, Ella's Deli, the library, your house, etc. Or it can be Vilas Zoo, MadTown Twisters, etc.

Currently we are opting to have NO USAGE REQUIREMENTS with the intent that we will use the coop enough to keep it thriving.
